I Iike being a farmer and I would like to stay one is a 3-year project by Antje Schiffers and Thomas Sprenger, the Städtische Galerie Nordhorn (Ger) and myvillages.org.

The third and last year of the project of Antje and Thomas: there was field research in the villages of Krklino and Mustafino in Macedonia in April (invited by Julia Lechler of the Robert-Bosch-Stiftung) including a premiere party in Mustafino and a screening and lecture evening at TOCKA in Skopje.

In June and July we continued our painting-for-a-video barter trades with farmers in Andrieseni and Manastirea Humorului in northeastern Romania supported by Vector Gallery in Iasi.

Last year’s English and Welsh field research was shown at Acton Scott Farm Museum in Church Stretton, Shropshire (in cooperation with Adrian Plant, Shropshire Museums) in May and June.
