The product development for the Höfer Waren 2010 started with a workshop in the village in May 2010 which looked at the local history and traditions of using clay. Höfer Waren 2010 is still under development,
and the village fete was used to present the first product and ideas and to further develop them in public.
A table was set up, and fruit got wrapped in clay, then baked and later eaten. The afternoon was about the close relationship between the soil and the fruit trees that surround the village, mixed with some
experimental kitchen techniques. A "Honesty Box" version of the International Village Shop was set up in the community hall upstairs, together with a small exhibition about clay.
