Kunstverein Springhornhof in Neuenkirchen hosts one of Myvillages´permanent International Village Shops since 2017. In December 2019, more than 30 villagers performed the shop in a full evening revue that connected the shop and its products to new narrations.
Out of the playful energy of this event, we went on with an exhibition moving between a stage in the woods, dubious narrations around objects of the International Village Shop, video footage of some elements of the revue reenacted, an installation of Romanian stools and Spanish Farmers´Chinaware in the style of minimal art and a pool of backdrops, hanging as if from a fly system.
